Our purpose and goals
The aim of the BTAF is to give a voice to Tattooing in the UK, to work with government and health authorities in promoting tattooing as a safe and legal practice , to bring artists together in a group that can act responsibly in pushing the boundaries of this craft further, in helping one another with advice and support.
As a group we can help and support the membership and the trade of Tattooing,
We can communicate and assist with government and all concerned bodies as we have in the past and will certainly do in the future.
we will also have a social side where we can meet up , support chosen conventions and gatherings that we feel agree with and help support our aims, where we can hold talks, seminars, and discuss improving and making safe the future of Tattooing in the UK.
we will encourage membership from the new generation of tattooist to encourage a strong future hopefully being able to advise and guide them to have strong ideals and a responsible attitude towards the craft, newcomers not meeting the five years minimum license/registration holding criteria will be welcomed as Probate members if they satisfy us of their desire to push the boundaries with us.
We welcome enquiries from all interested parties, government, health, media, etc
